ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Hailing from the Gold Coast, KLACEY is the creative pseudonym of the prolific 19-year-old songwriter Kara Bradley. With dreamy melodies, introspective songwriting and a soulful voice, the songstress has begun to prove her unique artistry. She has been interviewed by TAFE Queensland, Reverie Australia and The Gold Coast Music Podcast and has earnt radio play on stations such as 4ZZZ Brisbane, 105.7 Radio Metro and 1197AM Switch.

 

In 2024, KLACEY released her highly anticipated dance-pop single “Waiting for a While” which was produced by award-nominated producer Josh Beattie and Mastered by ARIA Associate Paul Blakey. The song was reviewed by the Gold Coast Music Network stating “It’s easy to visualise an ampitheatre filled with people jumping around like maniacs to this song. With a ridiculously up-beat pop sentiment and catchy chorus, once bass and drums are added alongside a dance breakdown, it’s pretty much impossible to sit still while listening”.

 

Following the release, she toured with her 5-piece band playing 7 shows between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, gracing the stage at venues such as Vinnies Dive, TomCat, Blackbear Lodge, Miami Marketta, The Brightside and more. Her undeniable talent has begun to be recognised by venues and musicians all over South-East Queensland. KLACEY plans to continue releasing music and playing bigger shows in the year to come.
